Mac and Windows

The desktop app adds a word from any app with one shortcut, and carries the whole Lexpad app in its own window, with offline practice. Free. The Mac download is signed and notarized by Apple. On Windows, get it from the Microsoft Store: Microsoft signs that copy, so there is no SmartScreen warning, and it updates itself. The Windows installer is not signed yet, and its page shows how to open it.

Lexpad for Windows is in the Microsoft Store. The same app (version 0.3.13 there), signed by Microsoft and kept up to date by the Store.

Questions

Which one should I get?

Start with the web app on any device. On a computer, add the desktop app if you meet words in documents, e-mail or chats, or the browser extension if you mostly read on the web. On a phone, get the Android app, or use the web app on an iPhone.

Do my words sync between them?

Yes. Every app uses the same account, notebook and schedule, and syncs when it is online.

Is Lexpad free?

Yes. Every app is free to download and use; Pro is optional. See pricing.

Are the Mac and Windows downloads signed?

The Mac download is: since 0.3.7 it is signed with Lexpad’s Apple Developer ID and notarized by Apple, so macOS opens it without a warning about the developer. The Windows installer is not signed yet, so Windows warns once and its page shows how to open it; the Microsoft Store copy is signed by Microsoft and has no warning. You can check every file’s SHA-256.

Is Lexpad on Google Play and the App Store?

Lexpad for Android is on Google Play, and the APK is here too. The iPhone and iPad app is coming to the App Store (Lexpad for iPhone); on an iPhone or iPad, the web app works today.
